Sometimes it is not the noise that draws our attention, but the silence. Not often, but the absence of sound captivates us to the testimony of the magnitude of small things. I must confess, that this picture was taken with a filter, BUT it wasn’t that far off in color. I cast about between 7 or 8 shots of this rose from vibrant to sepia and settled on this…a gentle, dusty, muted perfection. It captivates. Not by its loud reflection of light at the lower end of the spectrum, but by its very…whisper. It simply whispers, “beautiful” and we believe it. Because it is so! But the whisper makes it more so. It makes it personal. It is a private conversation between you and a quietly elegant, humbly self-confident rose. So…whisper softly…
Hope you enjoyed this post!
