After taking shots of the sunset this evening I was doing some creative editing during which I had a lapse of focus (maybe due to it being 1:28AM). Whatever the cause it suddenly seemed like I was looking at a sunset on a lake with giant trees of the make-believe variety guarding the opposite shore. Almost as if there was an island floating in the sky across the floating lake (maybe it is too late), but after a little bit more adjustment the illusion stood out even more until it actually looked real. Then again, it could be my allergies. Let me know what you think…do you see it?
Water wasn’t on my mind…at least not consciously, but it couldn’t have been with the heat (90’s) and dry air (~20%), but then I thought I saw a dolphin swimming in the clouds. You can see it near the top of the next picture, it has just come up for air and is spraying a stream of water behind it…do you see it?
As you can tell…I love sunsets! Especially now that we are back in the mountains. I saw several sunsets in Texas that would have made a beautiful picture, but I couldn’t get high enough to take it. (unless I climbed a water tower). That’s one of the many beauties of mountains…the view they afford.
Have a great day! (Night)
