Another post in another small series – the fruit of a spontaneous photo shoot. The picture is cropped slightly disproportionate as it was not entire perpendicular to the horizon and had to be rotated 3*. I was very limited on how close I could get, not wanting to get shot 😉 for trespassing and the tripod must not have been quite level.
A weary cupola that still holds a certain architecture beauty! I love this picture for some reason. It almost has more to it than a panoramic landscape. The lighting rod with its broken metal bracket, the two layers of shingles -one old, one new, the almost blue hue to the wood of the cupola, the amazing preservation of the slats in the cupola, completely intact…I could go on and on. What a subject this barn was.
A few more to come. Stay tuned!
