This will be the last barn post and I hope you have enjoyed this little photo series. The images are slightly crooked due to 300mm of zoom, uneven ground, a tripod not level, but mostly due to operator error. I thought about rotating and cropping, but I couldn’t decide to do so because the photos seemed to lend themselves somewhat to the canted appearance. It was either that or just pure laziness…maybe a little of both.
This old lamp is quite interesting. It would make a very unique picture if it were actually working and it were possible to do a night shoot. The light looks almost like something you would see on the streets in Chicago or New York around a century ago outside of shops, very nostalgic.
I have been preparing posts for this coming week from a 3-day hike in the Selway-Bitterroot Mountains to a BEAUTIFUL set of lakes. I am so far behind on material (pictures & posts) and especially my writing (which I am getting pumped up to finish the 3rd book in the Summer Days Series with ideas brewing for a 4th), but I wanted to share this latest adventure with you and some of the awesome (If I do say so myself) pictures that came out of it.
Thanks for staying tuned!
