This picture was taken from Riverfront Park last night from a family that had to evacuate. They were told they had to get out immediately and they sure did. One resident said they literally drove through a wall of flames on both sides like a tunnel. The smoke was so thick they could not see but bits and pieces of the road in front of them. They emerged approx approximately 70 feet later into clear air and made their way to the river.
They were certain they had lost everything and even told me that. Yet, miraculously this is the view that greeted them when they arrived later to check on their home.
Their home is safe!
